Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu born April 19, 1990 in Xiamen, China and immigrated to Cebu City at the age of 3. She is the first Teen Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, After 42 days of spending summer in the Big Brother house and besting 13 teen housemates, Kim was named the Teen Big Winner with 626,562 votes or 41.4% of the total votes.
Her popularity with viewers and an interest in show business led to acting assignments with fellow Pinoy Big Brother Teen housemate Gerald Anderson, who became her love team partner after Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, their love team was named Kimerald by the fans, combining their names.
